It was a quiet evening with family and friends, a celebration of a new couple and a milestone birthday. I wandered around with a glass of wine and stared into the distance watching the lights of the sky fade while in contrast, the light from the bulbs grew brighter. I guess life is like that, where time moves on, one thing ends and another begins.
