Senior portraits, Senior photos and senior pictures.  They may go by many names, but one thing is for sure: studio photography is “out” and on-location lifestyle photography is “in” … in a BIG way!  There isn’t any reason to settle for an indoor session with with cheesy backdrops where there are so many incredible outdoor locations available nearby! Each year more and more seniors are giving their school’s selected yearbook cookie cutter photography “studio” an unequivocal “no” by choosing to have an outdoor lifestyle senior portrait session instead.  What are you waiting for?  Choose to LOVE your senior portraits!

Jordan is a senior at South Lyon High School and absolutely wanted to be outside for her session. I have done a lot of South Lyon senior pictures sessions this year. But, this is one of my first sessions of the year at start of the color change. Even though the fall colors had not quite developed yet, we were still able to capture some great images! The gorgeous sunlight helped too! There’s simply no way to capture great images like these in a studio – real outdoor “backgrounds” look so much better than even the most expensive studio backdrops.
