About 3 months ago, Kristianstad’s new Shopping center, C4 Shopping center, opened. It is a big shopping center for being in a medium-sized Swedish city like Kristianstad. We have another business area 10 kilometers from this, and the center in the middle with the mall only a few years old. When I visited C4 Shopping today, I went around the entire mall to photograph.
This was only the second time I walked around the whole center, it’s so big, lots of people and many shops. I avoid anything that thronged with people and visit only one store in the shopping center regularly. How it will go with C4 shopping center, one can only guess. Most shops in the city have opened new stores in the shopping center. But having 2 stores in our small town, yes, it does not pay off. Who will close? Do politicians impoverish the city and all the shops there? Noticed last weekend when we had street photography, that there were only half as many people as usual!
För omkring 3 månader sedan öppnade Kristianstads nya shoppingcenter, C4 Shopping. Det är ett stort shoppingcenter för att vara i en medelstor svensk stad som Kristianstad är. Vi har ett annat affärsområde 10 kilometer från detta, och centrum i mitten med gallerian som bara är några år gammal. När jag idag besökte C4 Shopping för att handla så gick jag runt hela köpcentret för att fota.
Detta var bara andra gången jag gått runt hela centret, det är så stort, mycket folk och många affärer. Jag undviker helst att trängas med folk och besöker bara en affär i shoppingcentret regelbundet. Hur det ska gå med C4 shoppingcenter kan man bara gissa. De flesta affärer som finns i city har öppnat nya butiker i shoppingcentret. Men att ha 2 butiker i vår lilla stad, ja det lönar sig inte. Vilka ska stänga? Vill politikerna utarma city och alla butiker där? Märkte redan förra helgen då vi hade gatufotografering, att det var bara hälften så många människor som vanligt!
