Thoughts on Bluebonnet Minis

I’m going to be honest for a second and tell you that Bluebonnet mini sessions give me allllllll kinds of anxiety. The timing of when the bluebonnets will bloom in Dallas, sharing the dwindling (safe and not on a road) locations with other families/photographers, and the short time window are all limitations that make me twitch.

But then this happens (ahem, see below). And the twitching stops and my heart melts and I think, “Why am I not ONLY shooting in the bluebonnets? I should just be a bluebonnet photographer! I will work for two weeks of the year round the clock and eat/breathe/sleep bluebonnets!” I mean surely it can’t get better than this???

Ha! Well, I am not sure that my business idea is quite sustainable but after this year’s AMAZING client sessions I do believe the bluebonnets and I are in a happy place.

And if you missed my limited bluebonnet mini sessions that I held here in the Dallas area and would like to be notified of future events, please sign up for my client newsletter! I email out just a few times a year and it is a great way to stay informed and get first dibs on session dates!

Yes! I want occasional updates from MMP!
