This Sunday post is all about Star trails which I've gotten a bit obsessed about and a morning dove that was on my fence. The Star Trail picture you see with the clouds in the bottom left is taken over and hour and has some pictures removed as there was to much cloud. The way I take star trail pictures is that I set my camera up on a tripod and i get a remote shutter and lock that so it takes a photo every 30 seconds and then I leave and do other things. The star trail picture without the clouds is taken over a time period of one and a half hours. I combine all of the pictures I take in Photoshop and lighten them up. The dove was sitting on my fence when I let my dog out and I went and took a picture and that's about it.
