Often referred to as reportage, action or workplace photos we miss the demise of Natural Office Photography commissions. Past articles have described how we capture these type of corporate images and they are our favourite type of work. Corporate headshots are the bread and butter of our business but a couple of times a week we used to capture natural office photography for our clients. These were normally commissioned for new websites and are great at giving a feel for what the companies culture is like.

As Covid-19 continues to thwart businesses around the globe we thought we would look back at past commissions with the idea of planting ideas for future marketing work. We have put together a selection of natural office photography. These have all been captured without any posing and without any art direction. Our photographers will attend an office for the day and slowly blend into the background. After a few hours, people in the office become used to the photographer wandering around with the camera and start to refocus on their work. This is when we can start to focus on varies situations unfolding around the office and capture little moments as they happen. Although the images below all look natural it does take an enormous amount of patience to read how people behave and have the camera focused on them and ready to shoot as the moment happens.

Currently, we are unable to undertake natural office photography commissions due to Covid-19 restrictions but as we reach summer 2021 we hope to see new interest in our service.
