My name's Tizer, and I'm a Lhasa Apso.
Well, I'm back from my relaxing holiday in Derbyshire. I enjoyed going to Ilam, running along the river in Bakewell, chasing squirrels in Matlock, and marking my territory EVERYWHERE! What I did NOT enjoy were the fireworks when I got home on Saturday night. I've never really been bothered by them before, but this time I was so perturbed that I ran upstairs and hid under the boss' desk, only coming down to gobble my food up and get back to my hiding place.
Anyway, that's gone for a few weeks, until everyone cracks them out again for New Year. Grrr.
But now that I'm back, I'm enjoying the epic walks around Sunderland. I love living in a city that has so many green spaces. The Secret Garden of Doxford Park. The recently rejuvenated Barnes Park. The Lakes of Silksworth - that's right, I said Lakes. Plural. Because, believe it or not, there are actually TWO lakes at Silksworth. The first one is just off of the main road, but the second one is further down, and you can get to it from the bottom end of Lake one... or, you can get to it by the scary steps at the back of Sainsbury's. The scary steps? Yes, the scary steps:
Try running down these at full pelt! Or worse, try running UP them at full pelt!
What's more fun is to stop half way down and have a sniff, then mark the land as MINE.
This seems interesting. Have a sniff.
If I didn't know better, I would say that this looks like marshland in America!
More marshy looking land.
You looking at me, pal?
Ooooh, water. I don't really like water.
But I'm going to go in!
Phew, that was cold!
Water dripping off of me. Nice.
Nothing much on this side. Better come back again!
Wait! More things to sniff here!
Oh, freedom, I yearn for your sweet call!
The time when I can tear off these shackles that embrace me!
Ha ha, never mind that, I am FREE!
Oh oh, not so free now, the swans are after me again! Time to scarper back home!
That's it for this time - don't forget to check out, like, comment on, share this blog, my Facebook, Blah Blah blah you know the drill.
See you next time!
