Unboxing

My first shipment arrived very quickly, just a few days after placing the initial order. If you follow us at all, you know we’re also huge fans of the growing fresh dog food industry – which requires dry ice and insulation in order to keep the food frozen. The result is a huuuge box on your doorstep. Crafted Kibble doesn’t need all of this stuff, so the box was much more manageable.

Everything was packed really well and in nicely designed packaging. Inside you’ll find a bunch of paper materials for getting started (in addition to a free bandanna!). The feeding and transitioning guidelines are incredibly easy to understand, and the customized card with your dog’s name and photo on it is a great touch.

A great convenience factor that Crafted Kibble offers is that each pouch is individually sized for quick no-measure feeding. Simply open and pour the kibble into your dog’s bowl every morning and night (2 pouches per day). This ensures your dog is getting exactly the right amount of food, reducing the chance of becoming overweight.

Getting Started

Crafted Kibble’s ordering process is incredibly smooth and easy to understand. Like most dog food delivery companies, you’re required to walk through a few screens answering questions about your dog. This is so the recipes can be tailored to your dog and ensure you get the proper portion sizes and nutrient mix.

What we love about Crafted Kibble is that they have a step in this process for common medical issues. We’re not saying (and I doubt they are either) that this food will cure problems listed here, but the nutrition profile of certain recipes may help improve certain health problems. Many other sites leave this up to you to research before picking a recipe.

Crafted Kibble Price

Crafted Kibble only costs about $9/week for a 25lb dog (chicken recipe) – and that includes shipping! Sure, you can find cheaper options in a grocery store but the convenience factor here absolutely makes it worth the money for only $9/week.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Crafted Kibble is a convenient choice for dry dog food with a pretty good nutrient profile. Their ordering process is smooth, customer service is responsive, and shipping is free and quick. All in all a very great experience.
