January

March

Luggage -  For the jet-setters, this is the best time to buy luggage as it’s the last leg of the off-peak travel season. Prices tend to skyrocket when summer starts (April), so buying one during vacation season can be least favorable to your budget. Chocolates -  March is post-Valentine’s season, leaving stores with excessive stocks of chocolate. If you have a sweet tooth, you can stock up on chocolates this month. April

Home and living -  It’s during this season that families usually spruce up their homes because it’s vacation period for students and generally the start of summer season. School supplies -  A month before the start of the school, thus it’s the perfect time to stock up on your child’s school supplies and books. Back-to-school sales are also common during this time, making it a reasonable time to prepare for the upcoming school year. Laptops -  Affordable laptops designed for students will also be abundant during this month in preparation for the back-to-school season. June

Cars -  Though June isn’t really known as the month for the best car deals, 2018 will be an exception to the rule. Due to the implementation of the TRAIN law, luxury cars worth  ₱4 million pesos and above will be taxed less than they were in the previous years, making them less expensive starting June. In fact, Volvo Philippines is optimistic that their sales of luxury cars will go up mid-year as more models are launched. Air-conditioners -  It’s off-season for air conditioners as June marks the start of the rainy season in the Philippines. July

August

Stocks -  Contrary to Chinese beliefs, despite August being the hungry ghost month, it doesn’t necessarily bring bad luck if you know how to take advantage of it.
