Furnishing on a Budget might be one of the most tricky things for frugal shoppers. When we think of cheap Furniture the things that comes to people mind is usually Ikea or places like WalMart. After all these stores have been doing a good job marketing themselves as the cheap place to go to.

But anyone bothered buying any item on walmart ( that probably broken down while they assembled it ), or put together a cheap item from Ikea ( they can tell it is not even a real wood ), wouldn’t want to have such a cheap look / feel furniture at their home. These furniture were never really made for a long term.

I recall the first time I want to furnish my first apartment after getting my first job, was going to Value City Furniture, i  visited few stores and saw crazy numbers, Value City seemed to be the perfect place at the time, I spend over $7k at that store, and yet, I managed to think I got a good deal.

Today, I look back and I know that I really wasted a good amount of money. How do I know, because my recent experience in Buying Furniture Online was awesome.

Yes, you heard it right, buying furniture online, most people don’t like to but these two things together, but the truth is, buying furniture online is probably one of the best things you can shop for today over the internet. All you need to do is finding the right supplier.

– Overstock : I would call them the Next Amazon :), Overstock offer a great deals, reward program, and most importantly good furniture, of course you want to read other people reviews to make sure you know what you getting yourself into. What make overstock stand out is their fast delivery service (Free 2 day shipping), outstanding customer support ( way better than amazon ), and the customer centeric experience.

Our first order was to try the store simply a nice looking chair with low price, the box arrived with damage, i reached the company by chat, the support was so helpful that a replacement was sent to me immediately so i don’t have to wait, they asked me to hold on the chair for a while as the mail service may want to come and take it ( or you will keep it if they didn’t ), the new chair came on perfect condition, I was so impressed by the service, we tried to place all of our orders through overstock.

– Wayfair : well, they are not on the same level as overstock but they handle issues just as good, their shipping service and delivering on time. After few orders with WayFair, by no doubt they are my # 2 online store for furniture, the only reason that make them come behind overstock is that their support wasn’t as friendly.

Our estimate in saving of furniture was few thousands dollar ( we probably would paid more to buy the furniture used ), high quality and low price.

Unfortunately, Panda CashBack don’t offer rebate on these stores just yet, but hopefully on the near future.
