Easy Ways to Make Spring Time Fun for Your Kids + Free Printable Bucket List

This post on springtime fun is sponsored by BabbleBoxx. All opinions are my own.

Spring is just around the corner and there are so many ways to make the season fun for your kids. We just moved into our new house and have a yard for the first time ever! We received a package with some of the best products for kids this Spring and loved testing them out to share with you.

My daughters are so excited to have space to play and we have big plans for the spring season this year. Here are a few ways I plan to make spring time fun for my Family.

Play with Bubbles

As the weather warms up, bubbles become part of our daily routine. My girls love playing with bubbles and I am so glad I recently discovered Glove-A-Bubbles from ZURU. These bubble gloves make it so quick and easy for my kids to create hundreds of bubbles with the wave of their hand. I’m sure these will be in my girls’ Easter baskets too!

It’s no surprise that Glove-A-Bubbles won The Toy Association’s 2019 Outdoor Toy Of the Year. The gloves come in so many fun characters and vibrant colors that kids absolutely love. The super secret bubble formula works great to create lots of bubbles with ease. Lastly, packaging is also 100% recyclable through ZURU’s partnership with TerraCycle.

Get Moving

Healthy kids are happy kids and that is exactly what nonprofit Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) strives to support. We love taking family walks and bike rides, spending time at the park and exploring our community.

I just learned about ‘Every Kid Healthy Week’ and we can’t wait to participate this year. Celebrated April 26-30, 2021 this is a great way to encourage emotional wellness, good nutrition, and physical activity with your family. Check out the schedule below:

I registered to celebrate with my girls and get fun activity ideas like play-based yoga or these fun games the whole family will love. Learn more about how to get involved at www.everykidhealthyweek.org

Plan a Surprise

Whether it’s a special trip or fun toy, kids love surprises. My daughters are both obsessed with surprise toys, especially when they’re cuddly and sparkly! The Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise from ZURU is bursting with rainbows, sparkles and magical surprises.

Rainbocorns are such a fun Easter egg alternative and are perfect basket stuffers for little girls. Each egg includes an adorable plush, colorful stamp and sparkly surprises. Our favorite was the glittering unicorn poop which had a great texture and was super stretchy.

Connect with Nature

Spring is such a pretty season with fresh flowers in bloom, vibrant colors and warm sunny weather to enjoy it all. Earth Day is also celebrated in April, so we are planning a full week devoted to environmental studies for our homeschool activities.

I was thrilled to find this beautifully illustrated book, “A Child’s Introduction to the Environment” from Black Dog & Leventhal’s best selling Child’s Introduction Series.

This children’s book is a fun and informative guide to the planet, teaching kids about the water, land, and air around us by sharing important facts and at-home experiments. There are also fun bonus materials including stickers, activity pages, and a 10″ x 20″ removable poster. Learn more about this award winning series here.

Get Comfy

Nothing beats being comfortable, especially for little kids. As Spring blooms into full swing, we will be taking lots of bike rides and playground trips, so having comfortable footwear is a must.

My girls are loving these No nonsense ExpanTech Kids Socks. Featuring vertical and horizontal stretch technology allows these socks to actually grow with your child. That means they will last longer, stretching to fit over multiple traditional kid sizes, and saving money in the long run. These are comfy, stylish and come in a pack of six – such a great value!

Yummy Meals on the Go

With warmer weather I know we will be on-the-go more this spring. Finding quick and easy meal options is a must. Freeli Foods makes healthy fast food possible with delicious, convenient option both moms and kids will love.

This is the first company to create a refrigerated, heat & eat meal, all in the convenience of a pouch. These easy meals can be eaten straight from the pouch, with a spoon, or poured into a bowl. The high protein meals were developed by a nutritionist and are cooked in small batches to preserve their flavor and texture.
