The 14k gold paperclip 16-inch Chain necklace by Alexis Jae is pretty and dainty. This paperclip-style chain is fine to wear alone or with a small charm. I had a few charms without a chain that worked really well with this design. The chain comes in longer sizes including 18, 20, 22, and 24-inch. It also comes in white gold or yellow gold. It’s perfect for dressy or dressing down. The classic style is timeless.

I really liked it and it fit well.  If you have a bigger neck you might want to get the longest chain as the 16-inch might be too tight fitting.

It’s very feminine in my opinion because it’s fine and not very thick. I’m used to men wearing a thicker chain than this one. They do offer a thicker chain on their website that costs more. Regardless, it’s strictly a matter of personal preference.

The price is $230 for a solid gold 16-inch necklace. It’s a great quality necklace with a clasp that is easy to close.

The necklace would make a wonderful sweet sixteen or a graduation gift. They also make custom jewelry if you prefer something different and original.
