The Daddy Tag

Tags: daddy mummy kid

The lovely Frenchie Mummy has launched a new blogging challenge - #TheDaddyTag, a companion to the popular Mummy Tag. Of course, we had to give it a go! Here are Anthony's answers:

Are you a Stay at Home Daddy or a Working Daddy?

Stay at Home Daddy.

Would you have it any other way?

Yes. I would like to be in a position to stay at home... and still be able to afford an au pair!

Do you change dirty nappies? Even the very smelly ones?

Far too often.

A little fairy gives you the possibility of breastfeeding; are you going for it or do you run away?

I would be an Anthony shaped blur on the horizon... Nobody wants a meal with a hair in it.

What is the one must-have item for a daddy?

A child?

How many kids do you plan on having?

Zero. My daughter is an accident not a mistake.

Lads’ nights? How often do you have them?

More often than you'd think I'd be allowed.

Your children’s best achievement?

Being able to say 'Daddy' before anything else.

What is your best memory with your kid(s)?

Nothing beats that special daddy - daughter time, whether it's visiting Comic Con or just curling up on the sofa watching TV.

Name one thing you miss since being a daddy?

Lie ins.

Weight gain, before pregnancy, during, after and now? And we mean YOU DADDY, not the mummy!

I have put on a fair bit of weight since she's been born.

Dream holiday with your kids? Or even without them? (You’re allowed to dream)

Caribbean beach. Marianna could make sandcastles while I drink some sort of rum based drink.

How has your life changed since having kids?

Drastically.

Finish the sentence, “It makes my heart melt when…”

Whenever she says Daddy, and when  her eyes light up when I walk in the room.

Favourite beer brands and football team?

The cheapest ones and I would rather play football with my own balls than have to watch a match.

Huggies or Pampers?

Pampers - but both are what they're filled with! Mamia is way better.

Have you always wanted kids?

No.

Best part of being a dad?

Better parking spaces, child benefit payments, child tax credits, the ability to generally get a seat on public transport, and moulding an actual human being in my own twisted image...

I think he's being sarcastic...
