I am a huge advocate for supporting Charity and doing good deeds, so when I was recently contacted by Wayfair, the homeware online retailer, to take part in their #BlogItForward campaign, there was no way in the world I was going to turn this down.

What is #BlogItForward?

For the months of December and January, Wayfair has been challenging bloggers to spread festive cheer and beat the January blues by doing a good deed and blogging about it. Deeds can include any act of kindness, no matter how big or small. For every blog that does this before 31st January 2016, and includes the badge, Wayfair donates £50 to Habitat for Humanity, a charity which helps the poorest and most vulnerable people lift themselves out of poverty by supporting them to build their homes and communities. Clearly, a no brainer for any blogger – no?

What is my good deed?

Some of you may have heard some exciting news that I have my first ebook coming out at the end of this month – INSIDE THE MIND OF A TODDLER. Well, I’m delighted that my #BlogItForward good deed will be to donate £1 for every book sold to Shooting Star Chase, a children’s hospice charity that cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. I’d love to be able to make a £100 donation from downloads of this book by having 100 people make it their own. Stay tuned to the blog for details on its release and purchase which is slated for 22nd January.
