Finding the Right Workout Gear

I received free products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.  #GoOrganic #prAnaSpring18

Working out was something I knew I had to do more of this year. Last year, I was a regular in yoga class, but I wanted to step it up a little bit.

Over the past three months, I’ve gone to Zumba, Body Pump, Tabata, Body Attack, Piyo, and Trampoline Fitness. I’m probably forgetting a class here or there that I tried once, but these are my regulars.

I like some classes better than others. Trampoline Fitness is my favorite because it’s actually fun, while really working you hard. Piyo is similiar enough to yoga to make me feel comfortable. The others all feel like they are helping make a difference in my endurance and strength, while I lose and tone. I feel the least coordinated in Zumba, but I keep it in the mix.

Along with finding classes that I like, it’s important to have the right Workout Gear. To me, this means pants that stay in place since having to readjust or pull up leggings is annoying and distracting. My workout clothes need to breathe so I don’t get overly hot. Nothing itchy or pinching either. It’s nice if it can look good on errands, too, since I often keep my workout gear on after class, at least for a little while(or okay, sometimes all day).

The Costas leggings from prAna are a great fit. They are made with Chakra performance stretch moisture-wicking jersey. They have a high waist that stays in place. They also feature seamlines for shaping. I like the mesh detail on the back of the calves. These have worked in all different kinds of classes.

I also tried the Costas Bra, which was great in yoga, piyo, and zumba, though I needed a little more support for the classes where more jumping was involved.

You can find these and other workout gear at prAna and get 15% off your order by using code GGST18.

As you’re checking out prAna’s site, keep in mind that they’ve made a switch with their new collection: all cotton they use is now organic. You can read more about why this is so important: organic cotton at prAna.
