Fall Snack Mix

I usually cling to summer for as long as I can, but I have to admit there’s a lot to love about the fall. Hot drinks, cozy sweaters, and nights outside by a fire.

Of course, all of the flavors of fall help, too.

All things pumpkin and apple. Pies, cookies, breads, drinks. Mmmmm….

I thought I would take some of those fall flavors and combine them in an easy Snack Mix.

We were sent Pumpkin Spice Cheerios from General Mills so I started with those as the base to our snack mix. If apple is more your thing, you could swap out Pumpkin Spice for Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. Since these are already sweet, I didn’t see any need to make any sort of coating for this snack mix, so it’s super easy to make.

Fall Snack Mix

Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a closed container or large ziploc bag.

  • 5 cups Pumpkin Spice Cheerios
  • 2 cups pretzels*
  • 1 cup Pecan Pie M&Ms
  • 1 cup candy corn

Additional add-in suggestions: Cinnamon Chex cereal, honey roasted peanuts, dried apples

*Mini pretzel twists probably look the best and are easier to mix. I went with pretzel sticks because I’m a big believer in using what you have on hand if it will still work.

General Mills sends me products from time to time. I share these when I have a recipe or info that I think you’d like to hear. I’m under no obligation to share and no compensation is involved. Just some delicious cereals.
