As mentioned, this baby crib mattress is constructed of premium CertiPUR-US certified flexible polyurethane foam. This type of foam is firm yet very breathable to ensure maximum comfort.
Being CertiPUR-US certified, it means that this crib mattress has undergone rigorous testing to ensure it is free of any prohibited chemicals i.e. phthalates, lead, and mercury.
It also meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM International and CPSC safety standards, and meets all applicable federal flammability standards so you can be sure that this is a very safe memory foam crib mattress for your little one.
Because it is memory foam, the mattress is quiet and doesn't make noises when baby moves, unlike other traditional foam crib mattress with plastic vinyl covers.
