Colour Exploration

We loved the light box so much over the holidays I decided to bring it back! There are so many benefits of light play. It is a great visual Sensory enhancement to a learning area, making it an excellent resource for mainly science and discovery and it doesn’t stop there. I, myself, was always drawn to the light table in my classroom when I used to teach! You don’t have to buy an expensive one, all I did was use a clear bin and put my christmas lights underneath!

I put some paint in ziplock bags for a mess free painting experience. Chase engaged in sensory Exploration as he felt the squishy paint in the bag. He also experimented mixing colours and explored the conceptnof cause and effect as two colours made a new colour!

I also added our sensory bottles on the light table for Chase to explore!
