There has been a long time debate over the merits of bar soap versus body wash. I am a traditionalist for this matter. I have used only gentle bar soaps that to Himalaya brand for my son. The long list of ingredients on the body washes always scares me. I agree that bar soaps can be dehydrating and it can be breeding ground of microbes on its wet surface but I have used only gentle bar soaps for my son. But when I got Himalaya Gentle Baby Bath for review, I thought I would give it a try.

Directions for use:

Pour Gentle Baby Bath onto a wet sponge or hands and apply to baby’s skin. Lather, rinse and repeat, if necessary

Verdict

Himalaya baby bath comes in a white bottle with a green lid. The bottle is easy to use and travel-friendly. It is a gentle and no tear baby bath – so always happy bath time. It doesn’t dry out the skin after bath, it retains the moisture of the skin. No skin irritation. The fragrance is also mild.  I also inquired with Himalaya team regarding some ingredients like PEG  to which they responded: “These two ingredients help the formula give good consistency and transparency.” otherwise I am happy with the product as the product claims that there are no harmful chemicals, free from parabens, SLS/SLES, nd synthetic colours.
