Bollywood star Sridevi passed away suddenly due to ‘accidental drowning’ in a Dubai hotel on February 24. Ever since, the entire family including husband Boney Kapoor, daughters Janhvi and Khushi are going through a tough time. Post Sri’s funeral, both Boney and Jhanvi had posted incredibly emotional messages explaining what the departed actor meant to them. Stepchildren of Boney, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor who keeps an evident distance from their ‘father’s wife and children’ have come forward to support each other during their difficult time.
Soon after Sridevi’s passing, Boney issued a statement in which he wrote, “I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss.”

Arjun Kapoor and sister Anshula Kapoor have been dad Boney Kapoor’s pillars of strength through these testing times. Sridevi’s untimely demise has jolted and shattered Boney Kapoor. He is inconsolable after his beloved wife’s demise.
Boney Kapoor wrote an emotional tribute to Sridevi in which he thanked children Anshula and Arjun. “I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss.”
Arjun and Anshula have been by their sisters’ side and have been comforting them. Arjun Kapoor had rushed from the sets of Namaste England and had rushed to Anil Kapoor’s residence after the unfortunate news broke. He even flew to Dubai to help Boney Kapoor bring back Sridevi’s mortal remains to the country.
Arjun Kapoor has now resumed the film’s shoot in Punjab, but sister Anshula is still by her father’s side. On her social media account, she posted a quote, “No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers still spring up in the middle of nowhere.” She captioned it, “Strong willed, they dare to blossom & hold their own, spreading their beauty wherever the wind takes them. Wildflowers dare greatly.”
An ardent fan of Arjun Kapoor badmouthed Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor and even criticized Boney Kapoor. Anshula Kapoor slammed the troll and wrote, “hi, I’m requesting you to refrain from using abusive language especially towards my sisters, I do not appreciate it & have therefore deleted ur comments. While I am grateful for your passion & love for bhai & me, just a small correction – I was never working outside India. Let’s please spread joy & good vibes. Thank you for the love.”
