1.    On Jhanvi entering the film industry

Sridevi proved she was a fierce South Indian mother when it came to her daughters. The late actress was super protective about her daughters and in fact shocked the media when she made a comment on Jhanvi entering Bollywood. Here’s what she had to say:

“Jhanvi wanted to do SOTY 2 and initially, I wasn’t in favour. I don’t think it’s a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother.”

2.    On Khushi and Jhanvi

Like any other mother, Sridevi too put her kids ahead of anything else. Jhanvi and Khushi have been hogging limelight for their sartorial choices and Bollywood debuts. And at one such event, where the trio was spotted in their fashionable best, Sridevi openly told the media that there is nothing more important than her kids for any mother.

“For me, they will always be kids. But they seem to have taken less after me and more after my bold screen image. Last year, when Khushi wrote a post about body shaming on Instagram, I was pleasantly surprised to see my kid turn into a strong, opinionated and sharp young woman,”

3.    On Motherhood

The actress also went on to mention about how she always looked up to her mother for everything. Sridevi was passionate about shopping, decorating and housekeeping. She did not believe in getting professionals. ‘Everything is done by Mom! She loves to do up the house. We generally shop together, it’s fun.’ Khushi nods in agreement. ‘She personalises it with her touch,’ adds Jhanvi.

‘I see to the running of the household. I like to shop for groceries myself. I know the prices of all the products I use in my home.’

5.    On her relationship with Boney Kapoor

Their love story is something known to all! On numerous occasions we have spotted Sridevi getting along with her friends and peers like a house on fire. Sridevi has often made headlines for her heartwarming moments with her family. And talking to a Bollywood portal, the actress in fact openly mentioned about how lucky she was to have Boney in her life.

“I am very lucky to have him. God was very kind to bring him into my life. I don’t know what I’d have done without him. I’d be completely lost. I couldn’t have got anyone better than Boneyji.”
