Amazing Benefits Of Kalonji (Black Cumin Seeds) For Skin And Hair

Kalonji is an Ayurvedic herb, well-known for its curing and healing aspects. It is also used for skin care and Hair care purposes.  The be`nefits and the medicinal values of Kalonji have been known since the ancient times. Medically, Kalonji is used as antiseptic and beneficial for many diseases and disorders like blood sugar, blood pressure, and body weight. Kalonji oil is a rich source of antioxidants and famous for its anti-histamine, anti-pyretic, anti-helminthic, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-bacterial properties.

The black Seed Oil plays a significant role in hair growth by strengthening the hair follicles which result in strengthening hair roots..

Kalonji  oil for hair loss:

Rub lime juice all over the scalp, leave it for 15 minutes. Now, wash it with a mild shampoo.  After that, when hair gets dry, apply kalonji oil all over the scalp thoroughly. Leave it overnight and rinse in the morning with plain water.Following the procedure for one week will help you to prevent premature falling of hair. This procedure will help to stop premature graying of hair as well.

Make a mixture of 10 grams of Kalonji oil,  30 grams of Olive oil, and  30 grams of Mehandi powder. Heat the mixture for few minutes till it converted into a paste. Bring to room temperature.  Apply this paste to your head and wash it after one hour. The method is helpful to get rid of dandruff as well.

Black cumin oil for softening the hair:

Apply 1 to 2 teaspoons of black Seed oil to freshly-washed hair strands. Leave it for about 30 minutes. It will penetrate deep into hair cells. Rinse off with plain water. Dry thoroughly. This way, besides nourishing, you can soften and condition all hair types including frizzy wild curls, make them more manageable.

Stimulates hair growth:

Simply massaging warmed black cumin seed oil will promote the hair growth. Massage this into your scalp and smooth some over your hair strands. Leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water.

Helps to get rid of split ends:

Black seed oil is rich in fatty acids and amino acids. It forms a protective layer over hair strands, thereby prevent the formation of split ends. Massage half a teaspoon of black seed oil onto the hair length, concentrating mostly on the ends where the most damage occurs, before going to bed. You can either rinse it off in the morning or leave it until your next wash.

Fights acne:

Prepare a paste of black cumin seeds and apple cider vinegar. Apply it to the affected area. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Do it on a regular basis.

Black seed oil is also excellent for treating acne. The anti-inflammatory properties of this oil will reduce the appearance of acne and pimples by eliminating the redness caused by acne inflammation. Blend 1 drop of black seed oil in 1 teaspoon of yogurt and apply it on your face. It is an excellent anti-acne face mask.

Excellent for treating dry skin:

If you are experiencing dry skin problems here is a magic mask. Prepare a paste of black cumin seed powder, cumin seed oil, and sesame seed oil. Apply this for a week. There will be a noticeable change.

Black seed oil helps to maintain the skin’s lipid barrier and therefore prevent the skin from drying. Mix one teaspoon of black seed oil in 1 cup of coconut oil. Now, use this as body massage oil. Once is a week massage the whole body with this oil, (focusing more on the rough area of your body, like elbows, heels, and knee) will make your skin as smooth as a baby’s skin.

Protects skin from wrinkles and premature aging:

Make a paste of honey and black cumin seeds. Apply it on the face. Wait for half an hour. You will get a glowing skin once you wash it off.

Rich in anti-oxidants, black seed oil is an ideal thing to fight off free radicals that are infamous for damaging the skin.

You can mix together a half tablespoon of kalonji oil, half a teaspoon of olive oil, and 3 tablespoons of pure honey.  Apply it all over your face twice daily and experience the glowing skin.

Used in treating rashes and eczema:

The antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties of kalonji oil make it highly beneficial in bringing down the rashes and inflammation of eczema and other skin issues.

Thickens eyelashes and eyebrows:

Everyone wishes to have thick eyelashes and eyebrow. Well, black seed oil is a powerful oil that increases the hair growth. Using your index finger, dab a drop of black seed oil (Very little, as it can bring about irritation if gets into the eyes) onto your eyebrows and eyelashes before going to bed. This sink deep into the follicles making the eyelash and eyebrows thicken
