The Consequences of Ditching My DSLR and Going Mirrorless

The Consequences of Ditching My Dslr and Going Mirrorless I do a lot of traveling and I have a blog, my DSLR camera was my baby. Taking pictures is something I enjoy, but my regular camera just wasn’t doing to for me anymore. While DSLRs have always been relevant, it’s safe to say that things change and I have heard of more people going mirrorless. At first, I didn’t believe that a camera could even compare to what I was using. However, after much convincing from my blogging friends, I decided to make the switch. Here are the consequences of ditching my DSLR and going mirrorless.   The actual camera Once you guys see which camera, it will all make sense. I chose the Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 18-55mm F2.8-4.0 R LM OIS Lens. This wasn’t an easy decision and I spent many weeks pondering which mirrorless camera I should switch to. After talking to friends and getting their advice, this is the one I ended up with. The details Once you get your hands on a mirrorless camera, you will start to notice all the hype. The one word to describe this camera is innovation. To go from something like the DSLR to mirrorless is to essentially change eras in history. There is a little sensor called the 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor that turns images into something from a fairytale. Essentially, the sensor reduces false colors and the moire to make the images AMAZING. And the “engine” – isn’t it funny cameras have little engines? The X-Processor Pro engine increases response times, is faster overall, a lot less noisy, and the color is unsurpassable. As you can see, the consequences are just horrible (better pictures? O my)!   Weather perfect I spend a lot of times outdoors and that’s where I intend to stay. The Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless has amazed me in the fact that it is freeze resistant up to 14 degrees. I’m not even sure it gets that cold in Utah anyways. It’s also dust and moisture body resistant and has 63 point of weather sealing.     The Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless is compact and lightweight and it’s the perfect companion to take with me. I’m a mom and I need lightweight and versatility. Bulky is so ten years ago. The neat part of this camera is that it’s easy to use. You’ll pick up the dos/don’ts in no time. Your DSLR friends will be ready to invest in the Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless once they see you rocking it. Go ahead and check it out, the consequences of going mirrorless aren’t-so-bad. Are they?
