Large Bird Sighting
I got the following report in a few weeks ago. It is a report of a very large Bird. I'm not sure if it is something unusual or not but wanted to share it incase others have seen something similar. Could it be a thunderbird? I really don't know.

Describe what you saw:
My brother and I were young, probably 6 years old. We were in a kid's pool that we had on out patio. It was sometime during the summer, and I remember that a giant, brown in color, bird had flown over our driveway, and it looked like it barely touched the top of some acorn trees. The trees were probably 100 feet tall. The wingspan was probably 12 feet from tip to tip. The closest way to describe it would be like a brown eagle. Like I said, I was young, so everything; including this bird; looked big.

A 12-foot wingspan is really large. The Wandering albatross has the largest known wingspan at 12-foot but it is mostly white in color.
