Energy doesn’t lie. Because it doesn’t have an opinion. It just *is*. To observe the flow of energy is to be told a very clear story.
I’ve watched the flow of energy in the area of hate crimes. I’ve observed there is so much outward hatred and fear in America, because there is so much inner hatred and fear in America.

We are evolving out of a narcissist / bully culture that told us to “sit down and shut up” when issues arose, for women, for people of color, for LGBTQI+ people.
We are, and have been, building platforms for generations, in America, for the voices of those who have been silenced, to be heard. To be helped and to be healed.
As these platforms grow, the bullies and narcissists rage, because inside, they won’t accept healing. Many of them were victims of abuse themselves. They won’t accept help. They are terrified of the weakness that they feel, that their inner child drowns within, everyday; that weakness then plays itself out as hatred, and abuse.
It’s deadly camouflage.
America has passed the “51%” point — the point at which a majority of people believe something to be true. In this case, the 51% (or more) believe that treating people poorly because of their gender, or gender identity, or skin color, or religious belief— is *no longer* acceptable.
This puts the enacting of the deadly camouflage for those who are hiding behind it, at risk.
America isn’t afraid of coming together. It’s that adult people in America are being driven by an abused, terrified inner child within, who is in near-hysterics at the idea of having to confront their own shame, and powerlessness, and feelings of guilt and chaos.
It’s the terrified inner children shoulder to shoulder in elevators, in business suits, on construction sites, in churches, being forced to “sit down and shut up” by their outer adult, who carry on a cycle of learned abuse.
We bleed out in America, because we are wounded. Up to this point in our culture, we’ve tried to explain away the wound as “life”. Yet that wound is not “life”.
It’s pain.
“Life” is what happens when we take the time to forgive ourselves from running away and hiding from the pain that has tormented our inner child.
While out outer adult is building empires and crushing all who get in their way, our inner child is shrieking in terror and fear at being ignored, left alone, shut into our pitch-black dungeon of fears and secrets, to drown, alone, in a never-ending cycle of monsters, neglect and self-abuse.
It is the shriek of that child that drives the fist of the abuser. It is the shriek of that child that spews hatred online. It is the shriek of that child that beats a different color skin.
It all happens because we ignore our own points of terror, and pain, sobbing in a tiny child’s voice, echoing far below us within, from the blackened dungeon that our adult selves are far too terrified to venture.
We sacrifice our inner child to our fears, hoping they won’t crawl up the stone stairs into our living room. So we leave our child there, to suffer and starve alone, in this place dripping with spiders spinning the webs of our lies, echoing with the inhuman groan of faceless demons just out of reach in the pitch-darkness, the cavernous sound of dripping water as our sense of self leaks into oblivion—we lock our inner child below in this dank hell, leaving it to wonder every moment of every day, what it did wrong for its own adult to forsake it.
And when it screams in terror, when the horror below becomes too much—our adult does something terrible, topside.
“Life” is not the definition of “pain”. Life can only happen when the cycle of death brings about a cycle of budding blooms which are allowed to thrive.
Nature is a beautiful teacher in this way. We watch winter swallow the earth in a freezing grip, to release it to the sun in spring.
Humanity must accept that the cycles of our own personal growth, then emulates nature. The abuse we sustained as children is the winter of our growth, freezing us into place until the sun of our own life choices can thaw the hardened ground of our emotions, to allow new growth to spring forward.
Yet to engage this cycle, we must first thaw. And in thawing, we must feel. And in feeling, we meet up with that terrified, dirty, starving child we locked deep within us, for decades. We fear the wrath of that child, the hatred of that child, the blame of that child: how could we have *done* what we did, to that child? Put it through a living hell, to feed the demons below, day to day, just so our adult selves didn’t have to?
If we push past our horror in facing what we’ve done, the fear of the wrath of this delicate being that we have neglected and abused, and we fall to our knees in a place of true accountability and remorse and acceptance for what we’ve done before this child, and draw it to us, and hold it while it screams and cries until it just relaxes into what it can finally feel is our warmth—
–it will forgive us.
Because that’s what children do.
And it will trust us.
Because that’s what children do.
And it will teach us self-forgiveness.
Because that’s what children do.
And we will become the child’s champion; through this, we will become our own hero.
We’ll be able to respect ourselves, and treat others with respect. We’ll be able to begin to identify others who still have their own inner child locked below, in their dungeons of shame.
And we’ll be able to teach them to find the key to unlock that frozen cellar door, behind which, their true salvation lies; the key of compassion, for the self, and others.
This is the eradication of hatred.
Energy doesn’t lie. Because it doesn’t have an opinion. It just *is*. To observe the flow of energy is to be told a very clear story.
This is the story of America.
Find your key.
