According to recent Youtube statistics, the number of hours people spend watching videos on YouTube is up 60% year-over-year, the fastest growth seen in 2 years.

On the other hand, 20% of the people watching a video will leave after the first 10 seconds. This means that you need to have good content and particularly the first 10 seconds need to grab you viewer’s attention.
