In a heart-wrenching incident, a Woman has slit the throat of her one-year-old baby girl for constantly crying for milk. The heinous incident happened in a village in Dhar area of Madhya Pradesh state. The woman was arrested by the Police later. The Woman is said to have killed the child by slitting throat with a sickle.

There was no one else at the time of the incident in the house. Neighbours were surprised initially when the child who was crying for long time has become silent instantly. Within a short time, the woman was seen locking the door and leaving the house without the baby. She is said to have gone to some relative’s house.

A neighbour, who also happens to be a relative, got a doubt as she was aware that there was no one else in the house to leave the child behind. She called the neighbours and all of them broke opened the door.

To their shock, they saw the baby lying dead in a pool of blood. According to the Police officials, the woman was cooking in the kitchen and the baby was crying for milk. Unable to tolerate the irritation, the mother slit the throat of the baby with a sickle.
