The Communist Parties have given a call for Bandh today in the state of Andhra Pradesh. An ocean of red flags waved in the city of Vishakapatnam, as thousands of Communist Party workers staged protests in the city. Communist Parties said that the bandh was against the negligence of Central Government in allocating funds for the state of AP.
Left Parties accused that the Centre has not considered the issues related to the state and further didn’t bother to address any of its concern. The Political leaders have long been demanding special status for the state, but the Central Government of BJP has been ignoring it. Left parties criticized the apathy of the Centre and said that BJP has completely failed to fulfill the promises given at the time of bifurcation of the state.
Surprisingly, the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh TDP is an ally of the ruling party at the centre. The Chief Minister of AP Nara Chandrababu Naidu is said to have visited up to 22 times to Delhi to seek support of the Central Government. He has been presenting the list of various needs for the state.
However, the Centre didn’t respond appropriately, due to which TDP leaders are also criticizing the BJP at the Centre. Recently TDP has decided to take a drastic step against their alliance with BJP, but they were contacted by BJP with a promise to solve to their woes very soon.
