Each month at FSO we build brand new businesses from Scratch in 30 days – The Bizathon Challenge!
This month we’re building up a Membership Website.
Not only can you follow along as we build this business from the ground up, you can become a founding member for just $1!
So far we’ve created an entire membership website; with accompanying sales funnel, solo ads and both targeted and retargeted Facebook Ads.
We’ve even covered and implemented some pretty advanced modern marketing tactics together.
In our last session, we showed you How to Write Emails That Convert.
And today, I want to share the “Psychological Selling Points” that have people craving your products and services.
Enjoy the video below as Ritoban shares specific selling strategies designed to convert:
Why People Buy Online: The 5 Psychological Selling Points
Online shopping is ever expanding, and widely accepted as an integral part of any business.
Unlike traditional shopping, online shopping involves different behaviors.
Users must be mesmerized, hypnotized even.
This is the point an effective lead generation strategy providing positive user experience, making customers feel special.
Attract people to your product or services by guiding them through a sales journey, rather than shoving offers down their throats.
And implement the following 5 concepts to effectively utilize psychological selling…
Focus On People Who Spend
Ever wonder why you ALWAYS see products offering to “improve your golf game” or “train your dog?”
It’s because the people drawn to these products and services have shown time and again they’re willing to spend money.
Your business can’t succeed if the people you’re targeting don’t spend money.
Show Them They Need It
Always address the immediate needs of your prospects, never their wants.
You’ll do this with your marketing, your copywriting, word choices, headlines, and blog content etc.
Most importantly your offer should come together in a way that constructs awareness of your users need.
Definitely check out Copywriting Academy if you have not yet mastered this profitable selling technique.
Customers Need To Trust You
In order for somebody to give you money, online or otherwise, that somebody needs to trust you.
New visitors don’t know you yet.
They don’t know what you stand for, or who you are as a person, not just a marketer.
People are social creatures who trust online via website comments, customer testimonials, and actual results.
Only after they “know” you, will they accept you and your offer(s).
Everybody Wants A Deal
Proudly display the deal their getting.
Everybody wants one, and people need to see they’re getting it.
When formulating your offer, it’s crucial to present the mental image of received value being greater than the actual purchase value.
Sometimes it’s achieved by simply adding bonuses. Other times it’s by showing an original price slashed with the current price emphasized by larger font – in conjunction with bonuses of course.
Scarcity Triggers Impulsions To Buy
We need people to buy now, not later.
Human beings have incredibly short attention spans today, in fact, in many instances people are more easily distracted than goldfish.
It’s even worse online.
There are so many competitors and so much digital noise these days that many customers struggle to purchase anything from somebody new, let alone something from you.
In order to get users to purchase now, instead of later, we implement the IMC bar you see at the top of TheDOerClub, a limited time complimentary coaching call, and scarcity via a countdown timers.
Creating from scratch takes substantial time. So improve what already exists for you and ALWAYS test, tweak and observe.
Remember, the value of a visitor is actually nothing until they complete a transaction.
Only 3 days to go…
That’s a wrap for Day 27 – Well done!
