A trilogy finally comes to an end with a quiet opening.
Coming in first was Maze Runner: The Death Cure with $23.5M off of a $62M budget, the lowest opening of the series.
Jumanji came in second this weekend with $16.4M. It now Sits at $338M domestic and $822M global off of a $90M budget.
Third place went to Hostiles with $10.2M for a new total of $12M.
The Greatest Showman landed in fourth place with $9.5M. It now sits at $126.47M in the U.S. and $246.65M globally off of a $84M budget.
Rounding out the top five was Spielberg’s The Post with $8.85M. It now sits at $58.53M domestic off of a $50M budget.
The major release this week is Winchester: The House that Ghosts Built.
