Sony Pictures is shuffling its release Schedule once agin.
In what seems like a regular occurrence at Sony Pictures, the studio has shifted its upcoming release schedule around. First up, Soldado, the sequel to Sicario, has been scheduled for June 29, 2018, taking over the spot formerly held at Barbie. The toy inspired film is now dropping on August 8, 2018.
The Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly comedy Holmes and Watson has been delayed and will hit screens on November 8, 2018, which used to be the home for Bad Boys for Life sequel. That film no longer has a release date and is now ‘to be determined.’
As to 2019, The Nightingale will hit on January 25, 2019 and Spider-Man spinoff Silver & Black is now on the schedule for February 8, 2019.
The way Sony shuffles its schedule, don’t expect any of these dates to be final.
