One of my hobbies is learning how to make Repeat Patterns and fitting with WordPress’ Daily Prompt today, I thought I would share some of the not so great patterns that I have created so far.
Disclaimer: If you for some reason want to use these 5 patterns for anything from commercial to private use feel free to do so. Just remember if you are using the patterns for a blog, on a product, or for any other commercial use you must give me attribution. You can do that by linking back to my blog Ellieslittleadventure.com. Also, I am not responsible for any damage that these patterns may cause.
Before you actually look at them I want to forewarn you that they aren’t that great. In fact, the one titled buildings I actually hate but I worked so long on that one I did not have the heart to trash it.

To use the patterns open the file and then the Repeat patterns should be saved in the swatches panel of adobe illustrator. You can then use the rectangle or any other shape tool in your toolbar to expand the pattern. I am working on getting the patterns to work with other free software like Gimp or Inkscape so stay tuned. Also, these patterns are very basic so feel free to change the colors and make it your own. The original pattern is included in all of the files but I have hidden it so if you are going to edit the pattern make sure that you go into the layers panel and click on the eye icon next to the original layer to view it.
Well, I somehow managed to mess up the links to download the patterns. I am going to try to fix it today or tomorrow.
