Despite its heroic gestures, Ukraine is just a pawn. 

Russia is no longer a superpower. Though its military still packs a punch, its economy is poor.

The USA is a declining superpower and more preoccupied to be woke.

The USA's effort to "cancel" Russia further exacerbate the economy which is already bad from the Covid pandemic. Oil price has skyrocketed and supply chain disrupted.

The Ukraine War makes the USA and Russia weaker.

Meanwhile China buys cheap resources from Russia and subsequently sells at a price that Western countries cannot compete. 

So I think China may well end up being the winner. They can be superpower without firing a shot.
