It seems that nowadays kids and adults can’t just relax and enjoy life. There’s a controversy under every rock as demonstrated at the traditional White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday. Just a hop, skip and a jump away from Casa Bartologimignano (that would be our house in case you need to google it, lol), who knew such controversies were brewing?

Donald, Jr., was in attendance with his estranged wife, Vanessa. Every look on his face was caught by photographers as the press tried to make a big deal about two parents doing the right thing for their kids. Acting in a civil manner is big news these days, apparently. The couple also enjoyed spring break at Mar-a-Lago spending time in separate activities with the kids.

How adult. Refreshing even in the midst of their own difficult days.

Then we have the White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, taking part in the reading nook, where members of the administration read stories to children. Her story spoke of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Critics started to lambast her right away.

Really? Really?

They didn’t like her facial expressions, maybe the wind was blowing the wrong way, or some other item of national news importance.

Really?

These are human beings, similar to former White House press secretary Sean Spicer who once showed up to the Easter Egg Roll in a bunny costume-! They bring their personality and best wishes to a light-hearted family day.

And for some, that’s almost too much to bear.

Sigh.
