“That’s what the Chinese Almanac says.” Sifu Sabrina’s lashes flip up with a pleasant smile. “By getting a haircut on an auspicious day before going to Genting, for example, your Lady Luck may be a cut above the rest in the casino.”


“What if the guy is bald?”

Sifu Sabina leans forward, her lips twitching as if a grin is waiting in the wings. “Just wear a toupee, silly.” She slides a note pad across her desk to me. “Here’s the list.”
