Natural World Chia Seed Oil Haircare Collection

If you're into your superfoods you've probably come across Chia Seeds before. They're an antioxidant, great source of protein and deliver plenty of nutrients with few calories. But do you know that Chia Seed Oil is actually a great haircare ingredient too?

Chia Seed Oil boasts a number of fantastic properties for haircare. It's great for adding volume and strength, gives hair that incredible shine and provides limp and dull-looking hair with a much-needed boost. With so many benefits, it clearly made the perfect choice of ingredient for a Natural World haircare collection!

Haircare is not something I try out very often - I tend to stick with supermarket branded products but seeing as I'm trying to take better care of my hair, I was very excited to give the Natural World Chia Seed Oil collection* a go. The collection, which is formulated for fine hair, includes the Chia Seed Oil Shampoo (500ml and 1L), Chia Seed Oil Conditioner (500ml or 1L) and the Chia Seed Oil Anti-Gravity Hair Oil (100ml and 25ml). As well as containing certified organic Chia Seed Oil, the products are also infused with 5 essential oils - Cedarwood, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Orange and Ylang Ylang, which work together to cleanse and condition the hair, whilst boosting it's volume and shine.

I've been trialling the products for a few weeks now and I've been really impressed with the results. The Chia Seed Oil Shampoo and Conditioner have a lovely creamy texture and are really easy to work into the hair. My hair always feels super clean after I've used them and I've also noticed that it does appear to have more volume and less frizz! The scent is extremely subtle and all products in the range are free from nasties like parabens, phosphates, phthalates and dyes.

Alongside the shampoo and conditioner from the range, I've also been using the Chia Seed Oil Anti-Gravity Oil for Fine Hair. I tend to apply this to the lengths and ends of my hair, as I'm always worried about the roots getting greasy. You have to be careful not to use too much, as the product comes out quickly but I do think it's helped to keep the lengths of my hair looking silky, soft and healthy. I really like that it comes in two sizes, as the 25ml version makes quite a good travel size product.

Natural World is a new brand to me but after having such a good experience with the Chia Seed Oil range, I will definitely be looking to purchase more products from them in the future. I really like the fact that they are a British haircare brand and do not test on animals - something that has become very important to me when buying hair and beauty products.

If you fancy checking out the Chia Seed Oil range for yourself, it can be purchased from Beauty and the Bunch, with prices starting at £3.49. You can also head on over to the Natural World website to learn more about the collection and find out what else the brand has to offer.
