I had to share this Recipe. I’m just weaning myself off sugar and have been scouring pinterest and recipe sites and books all over the place to get some ideas. I came across a simple enough recipe that even I could do. It took 5 minutes to complete and involves no cooking or baking whatsoever.
1 cup of raw almonds
1 and a 1/2 cup of medjool dates (pitted)
3 tbsps of shreddedm unsweetened coconut
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Put all ingredients (minus the water) into a food processor and blend until it reaches a gravelly Consistency.
Check consistency and add a teaspoonful of water into the mix until consistency holds together, but not too much that it gets sticky.
Once consistency is just right, measure out per tablespoonful and roll into small balls. Pop into fridge to set.
