I thought hunting for School admission would be daunting, try play schools! My wife and I started this hunt a few days back coming back confused and drained and concerned every single day we did that. But I am sure it’s the same for all parents. Here is our experience:

apple kids

The only play school in velachery that had its door left open with a grill. Makes you feel more secure as you can see and hear the kids inside. Not many toys. The support staff were older ladies but were more happier lot even at 7 pm. They were not like the conventional frustrated and irritated helper ladies.

the most good looking school we visited but also the only school were kids in the day care looked very scared. They have a very bright atmosphere. But the human element is so missing and kids do not smile nor laugh here. The place is a definite yes if they change the operations style and people.

Tatva

the school was good. Only that the playgroup is located at a different location from the day care. So internal transport to be done. Also in the day care no one in my son’ age group was there. The kids in the daycare were more free and happy. In many ways reminded of the kv days. Inspite of the Montessori, Cambridge syllabus, claim it seemed more like a typical kv Hvf atmosphere, which is very good by the way.

American kids

Was the right combination of everything. The only challenge was that we have to cross the vijay nagar junction if we have to get there. Both the lady and her son were very good.

arise and shine

was very nice infrastructure and also the play school was very good. Only that they did not have enough kids in the day care. So looked kind of silent.

Bhodana

very nice place. The only place where we got to meet the teachers who were very nice and naturally good. Also the only place that insists on non diaper system for better training. Also they did not use any jargon like free play and structured and un structured etc… They do not have day care and that is the only reason we could not select this school.
