My Dating Chronicles

Hello beautiful people

I have not blogged in a very long time. I lost motivation for it, I just didn't know what else to say. I guess I was stuck for a while. Until my cousin suggested I blog about my horrible dating experiences. I am currently single and you guys I hate being single. As an African Christian female, it is hard in this online dating sphere. Now I'm sure you are thinking, why online?

Well, it's hard to meet people in the real world these days, it's not normal anymore to have a general conversation with a guy on the train, in a restaurant or wherever else. People just seem more withdrawn and so it makes it hard for the everyday hard working woman. Especially if you don't have a big social group or are connected in some type of community.

It was much easier to date being younger because my family was part of the Zimbabwean community so we knew each other and were able to set each other up and all that. It was also easy being a university student where there were people on campus all the time and you were most likely to be in social groups and all that.

Since I moved to this new city, it's been very hard to find a community, social groups and all that like I had when I was younger. So online dating it is...but it has been so hard you guys. So for my own therapy and of-course to share with you all, I'm going to write about a few experiences I've had so far.
