They say that when God closes doors, He opens windows. I love windows. I have always been the type who sees a lot of doors open and would not hesitate trying them all out if I can. Every time I try going for any opportunity presented to me, I go at it with solid belief that if it is for me, I’d get it, and if not, then things will not work out one way or another. Whenever something does not work out, I am always presented with windows wide open. Ever since we moved here to Brunei, I have had numerous chances to go back to Teaching. Teaching is something that I love and of course, I always welcome any chance of going back to it. However, every opportunity is like a test for me all over again – how much time am I willing to spend outside of our home and how much parenting am I willing to let other people do for me. Since I have yet to take any of those teaching opportunities, you can easily guess the answer I always end up with. With every teaching opportunity I turn down, my heart gets broken just a little. After all, how long can I stay away from it until I will not be eligible anymore. But somehow, God answers me with windows every time I choose to stay home.
