There are times where a challenge issued by friends is simply too daring or intriguing to pass up, and it makes you wonder if they truly understand the scope of what they have asked. This little slice of the interwebs was born from one such challenge. On a dark, cold, stormy night in 2007, I was approached by a friend with a simple request, sit down for 15 minutes a day and write the thoughts that go through my mind. It seemed simple enough. How hard could it be to take 15 minutes of my day and just blog what was going through my mind? Years and God knows how many words later, here we are. I have learned important lessons from this experiment.
One, it is nigh impossible to capture every thought that goes through my head in a fifteen minute period.
Two, people actually read what I write.
Three, we live in a world that cares more about Justin Beiber, Lindsay Lohan, Honey Boo Boo, and Hollywood, than in truth and justice.
Four, there are just shitty people in this world that just hurt others because it makes them feel better.
Five, it is significantly harder to sit down and write for 15 minutes every day than I initially imagined
