The president of the United States sent a very nasty tweet to a United States Senator and tried to slut- shame her in the most pig like manner. He implied that she would do anything to get money from him. He did this because she rightfully called for him to resign from office after numerous women came out and accused him of sexually harassing and assaulting them.
To her credit, in what might be a preview of the 2020 presidential election, she is hitting back.
"You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office."
Oouch!
And speaking of "those women", they are back. Any why not? We are in the middle of the #MeToo movement, and powerful men have been falling by the wayside for doing less despicable things than the president has done.
Mr. trump claims that the women are lying, and that he does not even know who they are. That, of course, as with most of the things that comes out of trump's mouth, is a lie.
