Wildgrain: Bread, Pasta and Pastry Subscription Box

Stephs Cheers and Jeers received samples mentioned in this post in exchange for being featured on our site.

I LOVE carbs, they are my downfall and I’m such a sucker for freshly baked bread. However, I don’t have the patience or time to make it at home anymore. I truly feel like there is nothing better than bread fresh out of the oven. That is where Wildgrain comes into play!

What is Wildgrain?

Wildgrain is the first bake-from-frozen subscription box for Sourdough bread, fresh pasta, and artisanal pastries. You can easily enjoy fresh sourdough bread in 25 minutes or less. Every box ships free and you can easily reschedule, skip and cancel at any time.

Pricing and What’s Inside:

Wildgrain sells for $89 a month and depending on which option you choose, the box will feature 3 loaves of sourdough bread, 2 packages of fresh pasta OR English muffins and croissants, a dessert item, and more. Now through 05/01/2022, new subscribers can opt to receive free sourdough rolls for life!

Pros:

  • All their products are vegetarian, use clean ingredients, are non-GMO, have no artificial colors, and use unbleached flour.
  • You don’t need to thaw before cooking.
  • Free Shipping.
  • They often offer extras for new members.

Cons:

  • This is a high-quality artisan subscription box so the price point might be high for some.
  • Freezer Space.(the good news is though, you can skip or cancel at any time)
  • The boxes are not easily customizable, meaning if you don’t like a particular item, you can’t substitute.

The Box I received:

The box I received contained the following items:

  • 7-grain Sourdough Loaf
  • Sourdough Loaf
  • Rosemary Garlic Sourdough Loaf
  • Sourdough Whole Wheat Loaf
  • Fresh Fettuccine(12 oz)
  • Fresh Tonnarelli(12 oz)
  • Orange Cranberry Biscuits(6 pack)

Thoughts:

I am very impressed with the Wildgrain box I received. My only complaint is that I am allergic to rosemary and because there isn’t a way to substitute I ended up just giving it away. I LOVE the convenience of being able to just grab a loaf and throw it in the oven. It made dinner quick and easy and my step kids loved both the bread and the biscuits. I haven’t used the pasta yet but I can’t wait to! It looks very high quality and I’m excited to try it.
