I was first introduced to imported Scottish Food at a very small Scottish Shop that was roughly 35 minutes from where I live. They were responsible for putting on an annual Scottish Festival. Sadly they closed a few years ago and since I haven’t been able to find Scottish Grocery products near me.
I recently came across The Scottish Grocer. They have been importing specialty food, candy, beverages, and more from Scotland for nearly two decades. Many of the companies they import are family-owned and use traditional recipes.
They recently sent me a variety of some of the products they carry and I have to say I was over the moon. They definitely made this pregnant chick very happy!
The package they sent me contained the following items:

I was really happy with the items that The Scottish Grocery sent me. I LOVE that they sent Irn-Bru, which is the most popular selling non-cola soft drink in Scotland for those who don’t know. It is a VERY unique flavor and honestly, it’s very hard to explain the flavor. My favorite item out of the entire package was the Scottish Strawberry Preserve! So flavorful and went amazing with the oatcakes but also amazing on toast.
I have to say I’m very impressed with their pricing as I’ve found many import sites charge a major upcharge and many of the prices on The Scottish Grocer are very reasonable.
