My Skin Care Routine

I’ve seen many Skin Care Routine videos on YouTube and it’s one of the videos I love watching. That’s also one way for me to discover new products.

My skin care routine has always been simple - cleanse, tone and moisturize. I barely use face mask or put serum. But I’m now starting to go a notch higher ’cause our skin will never be as good as what it used to when we were kids. So now I’m sharing you my simple skin care routine.

Cyleina Organic Carrot Soap - I was introduced to this product thru my sister. The word "organic" caught my attention so I immediately checked the ingredients. I was happy to see that it’s true to its claim. It contains carrot extract, pineapple and cinnamon which are good for its anti-aging properties. From then on, I switched to this soap as my facial cleanser. It lathers just like the normal soap but it doesn’t add extra moisture to the skin.

Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Facial Scrub - I use this mild facial scrub one to two times a week. This saves my skin from the roughness and dry patches of having an imperfect skin.

Celeteque Hydration Alcohol-free Toner -Finally, a holy grail product. What I love about this is the absence of alcohol in the ingredients. If you don’t want your skin to become dry, skip toners that contain alcohol. This is great on removing deep seated dirt and it smells fresh which gives an extra feeling of a squeaky-clean skin.

Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer - This trusted moisturizer has been my favorite since I discovered it. It’s very straightforward and lives up to its claims. I have nothing to worry about my skin getting too oily whenever I use this because of its thin and gel-like formulation.

Human Nature Sunflower Oil - This wonder oil has many benefits. Sometimes I use this alone as my moisturizer but lately, I found out that it works great when combined with my Celeteque facial moisturizer. I’ll just spread a small amount of oil to my face, let it set and then top it off by dabbing the moisturizer.

Quick FX Eyelift Cream - This is a new addition to my skin care routine. I’ve used it once before but I stopped after finishing a sachet. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines so I decided to give it a try again. So far, it keeps my under eyes hydrated. It’s too early to tell if this can prevent new fine lines from forming but I'll surely continue using this.

That’s how basic it is. Though I’m satisfied with the products I’m currently using, I still want to try new ones especially those that are made of natural ingredients because I’m also planning to go all natural when it comes to my skin care.

By the way, can you suggest a good anti-aging cream? Comment below the ones you’ve already tried.
