Queen Kristina born 8th December 1625- 16th April 1689 in Rome.
Queen of Sweden from 1632-1654, daughter of Gustaf II Adolf and Queen Maria Elenora.
When she abdicated after converting to catholicism she officially adopted her cousin Karl Gustaf and he was crowned the new regent, he had remained a loyal friend unlike many others that attempted to pursuevher, court her, propose to her, wanted to marry her.
She had a close, intimate friendship with countess Ebba Sparre until her marriage.
