Welcome to the first Sharing Saturday! At least once a month you’ll find one of these posts popping up here at Ruby Wings Blog. I’ll be sharing some awesome stuff I have found from around the web. Sometime it will be art, sometimes fantastic websites, or geeky fashion. Naturally World of Warcraft fanart was top of the list. It is probably my biggest favourite folder on my Deviantart account. There is just so much beautiful work out there which means that I am going to have to split this into several editions. So as it’s Valentines Day tomorrow I figured a couples edition was in order!

World of Warcraft Characters

I don’t normally ship Tyrande and Illidan, but this art work is just so beautiful. For those who aren’t up on their lore it could relate to a moment during the War of the Ancients when Tyrande falls in a river and Illidan believes she has drowned. Illidan always loved Tyrande, and she loved him; as a brother. It was Malfurion that had her heart.

I love the way the artist has depicted Malfurion in a dream form, as a spirit or just a memory that Tyrande holds on to while he sleeps in the Emerald Dream.

Not one of my favourite couples but their designs are both so visually stunning and their love has lasted a millenia. I can’t help but be drawn to artwork of this pair.
