Yesterday, when I was writing in my diary, I realized that I should be blogging instead. So, let me share with you a thought that has been bothering me all day.
Good never seems to be good enough. People are never happy with what they have; they always want more. Someone can be in a relationship with a beautiful, sweet, and intelligent person, but as soon as they set their eyes on someone who is a bit more beautiful or intelligent or sweet, they jeopardize everything they have. They give up what is good to chase something they assume is better. Who knows if that person will be better for them? What if they aren't? Why risk all the good you have? Why isn't good, good enough? Why so many questions? Anyways, just be grateful if you have something good in your life; something or someone to hold close to you and cherish. I understand that this does not apply to everyone and that everyone seeks improvement and success. Sometimes all we want is to get ahead of our fellow "competitors," but that doesn't mean letting go of what you have now, unless it is necessary. What you have now is not worthless. Good is good enough.
