Hanangell Skin Booster Review

How many steps are there in your skincare routine? For me, it was oil cleanser>foam cleanser>essence>lotion>serum>emulsion>moisturiser>nightmask or sunscreen, that is like 8 steps but really, I had gotten used to this. There are additional steps like using masks on certain days. Then I heard of this all new step, Skin booster! What’s a Skin Booster you say? It’s an additional product that is highly concentrated to be used before a serum. In the aesthetic world, a skin booster 水光针 containing hyaluronic acid and collagen is usually placed below the surface of the skin through a series of micro-injections, ouch. Personally, I am not interesting in injecting anything into my body for the sake of beauty, so that is why I am very happy to share Hanangell Skin Booster that requires no such injection.

Hanangell comes in a light weight packet like above, and inside it contains two syringes of 30mg skin booster gel. The packaging is interesting but not strange for me.

If you can read Hangeul then you can see the ingredients above.

First off, I like the syringe packaging as it is more sanitary, also the the see through syringe ensures that every drop of the product is used up compared to tube packaging.

This is how the syringe looks like taken apart. There is a cap for the tip and another cap for the back so the syringe won’t be accidentally pushed and dispense the gel when it is kept in your makeup pouch. This 30mg syringe used morning and night lasted me about 5 days, means it could dispense about 10 times for cover a whole face. Hanangell is said to be equivalent to 10 sheets of facial masks. It is mainly used for hydration, smoothing, and whitening.

The texture is a transparent silky gel like consistency, much like Indeedlabs Hydraluron gel.

The gel is marketed with these 11 types of benefits:

– Anti-oxidant – Improves skin tone – Reduced melanin – Hydrating – Fades acne scars – Refines pores – Anti-wrinkles – Firms skin – Soothes allergy – Repairs basal cells – and deep cleansing.

So far, I had only used one syringe of product and I quite like it. It is definitely hydrating and firming for me, and it is also so easy to use. I feel good that my skin is protected from dryness even on days I didn’t have time for masks. I just had terrible acne on my chin prior to using this and now the scar is not that obvious so I guess it did fade the scar a little. I think it is even refining my pores a little as I look in the mirror and notice my pores is not as obvious as before. Skin tone wise also has a noticeable improvement. Other than that, I am not too sure about the other benefits, but the benefits I mention are really important for me as it is so I will continue using using the other three syringes I have and should I see any major change, I will update here again.
