Ever since I discovered AUrate (pronounced OR-ate), a fine jewelry brand that combines ethically- sourced materials and fair prices, I've marveled at their delicate and beautiful pieces. So when they reached out to me to announce the launch of their new Summer Must-Haves Collection — I jumped at the chance!


I'm known to invest in minimalist jewelry I feel will retain value for decades to come. What I love most about AUrate is that their pieces are timeless, the kind you can wear daily and also pass down to generations.

Do you stack your rings and necklaces?
Since AUrate's jewelry are on the more daintier side, they'd pair well with other pieces you already own — just as long as you use pieces with similar aesthetics (i.e. classy, preppy or boho). It's all about balance, ladies!

AUrate's jewelry is crafted with real gold, diamonds and pearls. They also offer a vermeil selection — made from 100 mils of 14 karat gold on top of sterling silver.


AUrate was founded by Sophie Kahn and Bouchra Ezzahraoui, two Princeton alums who saw a gap in the market for reasonably-priced fine jewelry and decided to fill the void.

There's also a charitable component to the brand, for every piece of jewelry purchased, they will donate a book to a child in need.
